2009 BCC USMS Mini-Meet |

Reminder that the BCC USMS Mini-Meet is this Sunday (tomorrow) 5-April. It is a walk-on meet so there is no need to send in an entry form. If you have been hesitant to join us at a swim meet, this is a great opportunity to give competitive swimming a try! This is a very low pressure meet and you do not need to commit to swimming until the day of the meet. Since this is a mini-meet the events will be 500 Free, 50 Breast, 100 Back, 200 Fly, 50 Free, 200 IM, 50 Back, and 200 Free Relay. Entry Form and Meet Information.

2009 OCY Unoffical Team Championships -- Results |

Congratulations to everyone that swam at the 2009 OCY Unofficial Team Championships on Sunday February 15, 2009! The team placed 7th overall with 176 points. Our 200 Medley Relay placed 5th in the 18-24 age group and consisted of Lissa Cross, Tom Steel, Liz Gadomski and David Gladfelter with a very respectable time of 2:13.27. The 200 Free Relay placed 1st in the 18-24 age group and consisted of Tyler Myers, Liz Gadomski, Lissa Cross, and Pete Smith with a time of 1:49.11. Both Pete and Lissa had excellent swims just minutes before the relay in the 200 free and then they both pulled off great swims in the relay to help take second overall for the relay.

We are still waiting to hear how involved the Burlington County YMCA will be for 2009. Because of this, the team fee to join the Aftermath Masters Swim Team is still TBD.
